Hall of Fame

Over the past weeks, I’ve written about our Victorian Heritage, the Old Timers organization and the Mill Race Historical Village along with Cider Mills in the area. This week we will pivot to recognize those being inducted in the second annual Northville Athletic Hall of Fame this Saturday night.

NORTHVILLE HIGH SCHOOL’S ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
After years of preparation and diligent work by many in the Northville community, we will be inducting our second class of Northville Athletic Hall of Famers this weekend. THE SCHEDULE – On Friday, October 14th, the inductees will be given a tour of the High School and the Athletic Hall of Fame area. Following this, they will be recognized at the Varsity Football game against rival Novi (competing for the Baseline Jug Trophy). As the Mayor of Northville, I congratulate all the Athletes, as well as their families, friends & classmates, for being inducted in this year’s class for the Northville Athletic Hall of Fame. Know that I speak for all Northvillians as I say, “We appreciate all that they’ve meant to this Hamlet in the Hills, this Switzerland of Wayne County, that we call Northville.”

Again, I would also like to thank all the Coaches, High School Athletic Staff and the Hall of Fame Directors for establishing this institution commemorating Northville’s exceptional student-athletes.  We honor and recognize each of them for dedicating their time & talents to the pursuit of sports excellence and representing Northville as ambassadors of goodwill.

Keep that Northville Faith!
